FAQ
Why do I need an account for some pages? Can't I just use the site?
While you don't need an account for most features on Teletraan I, you will need to create an account in order to do things like tracking your collection and modifying decks you've created.

I ran into a bug on the site!     Something isn't working correctly!     I wish this site did <thing>!     There's an error on a card!
You can report any errors, bugs, or suggestions directly to me on Discord or in my my Discord server. It can be really annoying when people run into a bug and don't report it, so PLEASE do let me know. I'm also always open to new ideas for the site, so feel free to suggest anything.

Which community sets will Teletraan I list? Can my custom cards be put on here?
New cards developed by the community will be added to Teletraan I. However, only cards that have been thoroughly playtested and polished will be added. Card sets by established groups who have been very public with their work will gladly be added, but the ten cards XxStarscreamFanxX made last night will not be.

That said, I don't always know what groups are working on what cards, so if you feel your cards meet the criteria above and should be on here, by all means contact me.

How does the Battle Simulator work? Why do the results change a bit if I refresh?
The Battle Simulator starts by shuffling your deck and "flipping" the top two cards, plus additional cards equal to whatever you set the Tough/Bold to. If there's a it'll "flip" two more. It records the total list of icons flipped, and tracks how often each card was flipped. It then repeats all these steps (including the shuffling) 5,000 times and displays the likelihood of various results. That's why results can vary a bit, because it's actually simulating the battle rather than trying to mathematically estimate your odds.
Instructions [outdated & incomplete]
Many parts of the site can be moused-over for additional information.

Bot Card Collection / Battle Card Collection / Stratagem Collection
Use these pages to view and update your collection. You can mouseover the column headers for a list of filters, and clicking on a column header will sort the table. Click the link on the top of the table to update your collection.

"Owned" is how many of that card you own. You can use the arrows to adjust how many cards you own, or you can just manually type it in the text box .

Tip: Use the tab key to quickly cycle through the collection text boxes to enter your whole collection a bit faster.

The "Want" field is for how many of that card you want. If you don't change it, it'll default to the values set on Account. For example, you might want 6 of every battle card except for the SDCC 2018 cards. Set the SDCC cards each to 1, and then you'd go to your account page and set your minimum battle cards to 6.

Decks and Statistics
This is where you create your decks and add cards to them. Creating a new deck is as simple as entering the name in the text box and clicking "Add New Deck". Once you've created your deck, use the red buttons to edit it. While they all have mouseover descriptions and are pretty self-explanatory, I'll cover the not as obvious ones.

Public/Private: This simply toggles whether the deck is available for the public to see. Public decks that use a card are listed on that card's page, and have a link for you to easily share them.

Export to OCTGN: OCTGN is a free gaming platform that helps you simulate tabletop games over the internet. This button exports your deck to a file that you can easily load into OCTGN.

Trade Lists
This is an small overview of the cards you're missing and the cards you have extras of. It takes into consideration how many of a card you want to keep (as set on your account page or when updating your collection). You can make it public if you'd like to send the link to people.

Considering most people don't "trade" common cards so much as they give them away, it does not list your extra commons. It does list commons that you are missing though.

Sealed Pack Generator
This simulates opening sealed packs. It's good if you want to practice a sealed-like environment without actually buying sealed packs to open. Enter the number of packs you wish to "open", then you can pull them from your actual collection to simulate what you would have gotten if you had bought the packs. It also gives you the code to export to OCTGN.
About this Site & Who I Am
This site began as the "next evolution" of a Google Sheet I was maintaining to track my own collection. I keep a number of decks constructed, so it was a way for me to keep track of which cards were in which deck in case I needed to pull them. Then when I wanted to add a battle simulator to my spreadsheet, I figured making a website would be a better option.

My name is Zero. Transformers have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've been collecting them for just as long, and have well over one thousand Transormers on display in my home office.

I was loosely following the TCG prior to its launch, and originally bought some just to collect the cards. I'm a fan of the WTF@TFW podcast, and the excitement Vangelus & Aaron had for the game drove me to start playing instead of just collecting. I'm not very good at the game, but I love it and will jump on any opportunity that I get to play. I competed in the 2019 Energon Invitational, and I'm an admin of the San Diego Transformes TCG Facebook group. If you're ever in the area, let me know and I'll gladly meet up with you to play!

Outside of Transformers, my wife & I attend a number of conventions throughout the year (including TFcon!), often running various gameshows at them. We post about that stuff on theCATandROBOT. I'm not super active on social media, but I occassionally post stuff on Facebook, less often on Twitter, and occassionally even on Instagram. In all cases, it's /ZeroLiddell. You can also get ahold of me on my Discord server.
